| CHURCH SHOP Only 50 metres from our church building is the Christ Church Shop (under the umbrella of the Christ Church Support Association). The shop, entirely run by volunteers, sells a variety of items. These are donated by the church congregation and members of the public. They include clothes and accessories, toys, linens, books written in English, household items, and all those small possessions that are too good to throw away and which may be of use to someone else. We aim to provide a good, attractive service within an accepting and relaxed atmosphere where we can be of service to all who enter, regardless of whether they are coming in for a chat, for the warmth, or to buy. Donations in good condition are most welcome. Regrettably there is limited space for large items and the shop cannot accept electrical goods. Most sports items are too difficult to display and no one seems to want videos or cassettes. Again, due to limited space, we concentrate only on English books. Please don’t bring donations of books in German. When in doubt as to what is a suitable donation, please telephone the shop. Due to the enormous generosity of a number of publishers, we hold special book sales from time to time. Please check this website for dates of special events. The income from all sales goes towards the upkeep and running costs of the Church and to the charities it supports.
